Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To compare the effects of glaucoma drainage devices versus trabeculectomy as a primary surgical procedure to control intraocular pressure in people of West African black ethnic origin who have primary open angle glaucoma.
