Nowadays, the proliferation of vehicular network (VANET) using cloud computing through Internet is considered as a main stream for vehicular industries. The vehicular ad hoc network is a self-organizing vehicle network that offers embedded sensors, processing, and wireless communication capabilities for vehicles. However, due to limited capacity in the on-board unit, vehicles in the network predominantly suffer from limited storage, and computational capability. The paper addresses the vehicular cloud network and its architecture, computation, communication, storage, and security issues. Next, by using cloud computing technology, vehicles can broaden their capabilities, where vehicles can get storage and computing services. Finally, a 360 ∘ view of vehicular cloud technology, its future application in various automobile sectors, and its impact on society and its economy is also being discussed.
