Abstract

The authors analyze the decision-making process for choosing a future specialty by an entrant in a large city, which is associated with solving a number of tasks of multicriteria choice. The information analysis of the procedures for choosing a future specialty by school graduates using cognitive cards is carried out. The analysis takes into account those factors whose impact is considered to be the most significant. A model of the data analysis procedure is developed to determine the person’s professional inclinations and abilities on the basis of the results of vocational guidance tests, which enabled to estimate comprehensively the professional personality traits.
