Introduction: There are many types of instruments that are used as tools in measuring nurses' knowledge and skills related to EBP implementation. The purpose the study: This study aims to investigate the appropriate instruments used in measuring the knowledge and skills of nurses in the application of evidence-based practice. Method: Searching for resources using Pubmed and Willey databases then using Cross Sectional Critical Appraisal Skills Program (CASP) as a tool to extract the publications obtained. Result: 11 publications were analyzed, there were only 2 publications that used the same instrument. But that does not mean that the instrument used by other researchers is invalid. Conclusion and suggestion: This literature review cannot explain which instrument is better to use in measuring nurse knowledge and skills. The selection of the instruments to be used needs to pay attention to the suitability of the contents of the instrument with the organization's organizational culture so that the measurement results made can provide valid data.
