Abstract

The collaboration is the main aspect of very large organizations. Meeting rooms are the main enablers of collaboration. However, most organizations face challenges in using their meeting rooms effectively due to lack of efficient and affordable systems. All the traditional purely software-based solutions are not enough to meet the demands of today’s organization. So our aim is to incorporate the latest Internet of Things (IoT) technologies into the meeting rooms based on many different types of research. Our proposed system will help every organization those who want to convert their traditional meeting spaces into a smart meeting space without spending too much money and space. Our proposed system is based on sensors, microcontrollers and minicomputers. We have selected best of available devices keeping the price and portability in mind. This proposed system will be capable enough to display real-time room occupancy status, room booking and management, generate notifications and the control of room environment from a remote location.
