Abstract

Throughout this work we have tried to analyze the migration phenomenon from the point of view of the actions of the administrations of Lopez Obrador and Trump. A comparison between two presidents who have recently come to the obligatory management of a complex and delicate reality. By confronting and contrasting migration definitions and the actions taken by both administrations to a constantly increasing situation, this text intends to study the migratory visions in two countries whose social, political and geographic contexts, define two different situations: the transit and border crossing territory (in Mexico's case) and of desired opportunities in the U.S. case.
