Abstract

Thus purpose of this study is to evaluate the various ciewpoints within the economics profession regarding the processes that determine exchange rates between currencies. Although much of the study focusses jointly on spot forward excahnge rates, the term "exchange rate," when unmodified, should interpreted to refer to spot rates and not necessarily ro forward rates.
