Turnera diffusa is used as aphrodisiac and antiulcer medicinal plant. HPLC with UV detection and thin-layer chromatog. were used for the phytochem. study; the contents of ash, total flavonoids, p-arbutin, and apigenin-7-O-β-D-p-coumaroyl (1→6)glucopyranoside were detd.
