Abstract

With the development of urbanization and information technology, the efficiency and comfort of the office environment have become the two major concerns of the office market and users. This article analyzes the psychological characteristics and emotional needs of young women, studies the user’s sitting posture, determines the structure and size of the chair based on ergonomics, improves the chair structure adjustment form, and approaches the aesthetic requirements of young women through design methods such as symbolic metaphors on the appearance. The design of female office chairs based on ergonomics and emotional design is conducive to improving people’s work efficiency and work comfort, thereby enhancing users’ happiness in life.
