Abstract

The final aim of installing lightning protection equipment and doing equal potential connection is to release the lightning current to the earth to protect the back-end equipment when happens the lightning strike. In order to guarantee the safe operation of meteorological environment live-action monitoring system, we should take systemic and effective lightning protection measures for monitoring system to improve the lightning protection abilities of monitoring system according to lightning protection's standards and requirements. Here we analyze the lightning forms and their paths of meteorological system and simply discuss the relatively corresponding integrated lightning protection technologies. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
