Abstract

A major effort has been put in recent years on the development of Device-to-Device(D2D) communications which provides wireless connectivity for higher data rates and system capacity. Accordingly, various information sharing systems between smart devices have been developed and widely disseminated to make full use of the wireless network environment. However, due to low compatibility and performance current sharing systems hardly meet the user’s needs for seamless and bidirectional sharing features. In this paper, we propose an integrated sharing system among smart devices. The proposed system provides functional features not only the media, screen, and input data but also the user context usage information of their mobile devices. Our system can fully support the role of a source device and a destination device whereas previous systems provide only one-directional data sharing. Furthermore, proposed system can support high availability and usability by providing the integrated sharing environment. Through the experimental development, we saw that our system utilized for the heterogeneous contexts and showed the validity of the future IoT multimedia system design.
