Abstract

This is the population that has been discussed most extensively in the literature. This chapter will discuss the changing neurodevelopmental outcomes at varying gestational age/birth weight over time as it relates to new interventions in the NICU. Risk factors such as intraventricular hemorrhage and bronchopulmonary dysplasia within this population are addressed.
