Abstract

This chapter presents a brief summary of the emerging technologies influenced by best matching processes and decisions, along with major technical challenges of best matching models, algorithms, and protocols, and opportunities for future improvements. The purpose is to highlight the emerging thrusts in best matching theory, in terms of both theoretical developments and practical applications.
