Abstract

Chemical structures are reported for six antifungal lanostane-type triterpene-oligoglycosides from the Okinawan sea cucumber Stichopus chloronotus (Brandt). The compounds are: stichlorosides A1 (9), B1 (15), C1 (20) [having stichlorogenol (3) as the aglycone] and A2 (10), B2 (16), C2 (21) [dehydrostichlorogenol (4) as the aglycone]. © 1981, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
