Abstract

A mandibular (continuity) defect may be the result of surgery for malignant and aggressive benign tumors, extensive trauma, and different diseases involving the bone (i.e., fibrous dysplasia, osteo(radio)necrosis, osteomyelitis, large cysts, etc.).
