Abstract

This chapter compares and contrasts the three functional mapping techniques of nTMS, magnetoencephalography (MEG), and functional MRI. It is divided into two sections: the first section describes each of the three modalities, highlighting aspects of each modality that distinguish it from the others; the second section compares and contrasts these three modalities and seeks to help the reader identify which modality(ies) would be most helpful for given clinical situations.
