Abstract

The skin moisturizing effects after the topical application of Neutrogena Hand Cream and other three commercial hand creams were assessed using 3. 5 MHz skin hydrometer. Neutrogena Hand Cream showed the best properties as compared with others ; 1. prolonged maintainance of higher hidration level after application, 2. superior water-holding capacity in water sorption-desorption test. Therefor Neutrogena Hand Cream was demonstrated to be an effective moisturizer. © 1985, Meeting of Osaka Dermatological Association. All rights reserved.
