Abstract

The majority of breast cancer patients can expect a long survival time due to early detection and progress in treatment. The disease and the therapy have a profound impact on the physical, psychological and relational dimensions of the individual patient’s life. One of the most affected domains is the sexual health of these women. They need a multidisciplinary sexual health care integrating medical, individual psychotherapeutic interventions and specialised couple counselling.
