Abstract

Agricultural productivity plays an indispensable role in the economic growth of developing countries. Healthy plants are ought to maintain a sustainable and profitable crop production. Therefore, developing more effective methods for spotting diseases in an early stage is highly important. Timely detection helps in enabling a timely intervention to ensure a good crop yield. The traditional method of identifying diseases requires expertise in the field of botany. The manual method of identifying through manual visual inspection is highly irregular and unreliable. This manuscript talk about a novel initiative on disease spotting and diagnosing from the images of Plant leaves using Image dealing out methods. The discussions have the reference and thorough investigation of previously proposed techniques from the years 2005 to 2018. Accordingly the challenges faced and future scope in this field has been discussed.
