Abstract

Two new isoflavanone and one new 3-arylcoumarin derivatives, along with a known compound 3,4-didehydroglabridin, were isolated from commercially available licorice of Glycyrrhiza glabra origin, and their structures were elucidated on the basis of both the chemical and spectroscopic evidence. © 2005 Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
