Abstract
Thisstudy examines theexperiences ofinternational students atTheUniversity ofToledo,where international students comprise approximately 10%ofthestudent pop- ulation. Ithighlights problems international students experience suchasadapting toa new culture, English language problems, financial problems andlackofunderstanding from the broader University community. Recommendations forimprovement iclude initiatives to raisetheprofile ofinternational students, improved financial ssistance andscholarships, andcreating opportunities for international students oimprove their spoken English skills.
