Abstract

This paper proposes the Semantic Hypermedia Design Method, SHDM. By extending OOHDM with primitives taken from Semantic Web languages such as DAML+OIL, we show how a larger, easier to evolve, set of applications can be specified. Such applications also allow tapping the richness of resource descriptions that are becoming available with the Semantic Web. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2003.
