The developers of More's City retail and entertainment complex in Yokosuka, Japan, chose Kiku Obata and Co of St Louis to design a wayfinding system for the complex. The brief consisted of designing 'identities' for the six zones in More's City, directory maps and directional concepts. The company used large banners, colorful graphics and letter-dominated signs to help shoppers find their way around - and to evoke the American shopping experience.
