Abstract

Solar energy is currently one of the great alternatives for the eventual scarcity of energy from fossil fuels. A source without pollution, accessible, inexhaustible and that besides the savings in the generation process can be used in the concept of "smart grids" generating profit for the excess energy produced. The contextualization of this theme in the teaching of Chemistry and Physics amidst the current moment of containment of expenses promotes the valorization of human knowledge, showing integration between science, necessity and technical evolution. One of the most active areas of research that serves as a background for the interdisciplinary context, uniting concepts of modern physics, energy conservation, conjugated polymers and organic chemistry.
