Abstract

Lifetime Bonds, one of Safe Humane Chicago’s flagship programs, provides opportunities for at-risk youth—particularly teenage males—and at-risk dogs, particularly dogs impounded as victims of cruelty and neglect, to help one another. In this chapter, we describe the program, beginning with background information on Safe Humane Chicago.
