Abstract

FR-900130 is a new antibiotic having an acetylene moiety and is very unstable in aqueous solution. The antibiotic was isolated as the acetyl derivative by ion-exchange resin and adsorption chromatography. The structure has been determined to be L-2-amino-3-butynoic acid by spectral data of its derivatives. © 1980, JAPAN ANTIBIOTICS RESEARCH ASSOCIATION. All rights reserved.
