Abstract

During the experimental investigation of solar cells, the quality of the illumination is essential. In case of solar simulators, the main goal is the accurate reproduction of the sunlight. The designing procedure and the construction of a halogen-LED hybrid solar simulator is described in this article. One of the main goals are the compliance with the relevant standard (ASTM E972). Small size solar cells can be investigated with the help of the designed solar simulator.
