Abstract

The words cloud, cloud native, serverless, and containers have been making noise in the IT industry for several years in relation to using new infrastructures, paradigms, and architectures to manage resources like storage, networking, memory, CPU, isolation, scalability, and microservices. What are microservices ? In my opinion, they are an architectural pattern that structures a system in a collection of services with certain features, such as being loosely coupled, independently deployable, scalable, testable, maintainable, organized around business capabilities, and owned by a small team.
