Abstract

In this work, both, pristine and hybrid polyisoprene as well as ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer nanocomposites with carbon nanoparticles and carbon nanotubes were developed and studied for their application in toluene sensors. The response to toluene was determined for pristine and hybrid composite samples. Hybrid samples were compared to pristine composite samples and the composite with highest sensing effect is obtained.
