Puccinia fumosa (Pucciniales) and the host loeselia glandulosa (polemoniaceae), new records for Colombia and South America

Abstract

The rust fungi Puccinia fumosa is registered for the first time for Colombia parasitizing Loeselia glandulosa belonging the family Polemoniaceae. This is the first record of this family and genus Loeselia parasitizing to Pucciniales in South America also. The mesospores of Puccinia fumosa are described or the first time.
