Abstract

The paper investigates the prospects of extending intelligentmanufacturing in the field of clothing industries. Actual facilitieslack behind the currently exploited options of automation, already inuse for most of the business, as effectiveness is hunted for byproductive break-up, moving outside labour intensive phases. Theinvestment cost in computer-integration, indeed, is possibly partiallyrecovered with productivity and, much more, by production quality.
