Abstract

This paper describes a new combined laser Doppler velocimeter-laser Raman scattering apparatus which simultaneously measures velocity and scalars. Measurements of simultaneous velocity and scalars in a ducted nonpremixed turbulent flame are presented. Measurements presented include the turbulent momentum transport and both conventional and Favre averages of variables. Refs.
