Abstract

Electricity is an important factor in the country´s social and economic development. Small and medium-sized water falls are a possible solution to minimize socio-environmental problems. Current study investigates the importance of using water´s gravitational potential energy available in small rural properties and their implementation from low-cost recyclable materials. A water wheel was developed with waste materials for the generation of electricity. The mechanism produced electricity and its improvement may reveal alternatives to increase the speed within the system.
