Abstract

Traditional requests scheduling algorithms in multi-core web server couldn't fully exploit the performance of multi-core CPUs. To solve this problem, we proposed the requests scheduling algorithm in the previous paper. But the algorithm couldn't keep load balance between cores in long time period. In this paper, we proposed a new model to solve this problem. Simulation experiments have been done to evaluate the new model. The experiment results show that the proposed model could better keep load balance between processing cores in long time period. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.
