Abstract

With the help of the idea of Man-in-the-Middle Attack and the introduction of synchronization agent having a Man-in-the-Middle role, this chapter comes up with synchronization system architecture of heterogeneous data sources on the top of SyncML (Synchronization Markup Language) protocol. The synchronization process achieves the two prototypes of client in the synchronization agent completing respectively the data synchronization with the corresponding SyncML server. The data synchronization system of this chapter could better solve synchronization problems of heterogeneous data sources in the distributed computing environment.
