Polícia e violência: representações sociais de elites policiais do Distrito Federal

Abstract

O texto analisa as representações sociais de elites policiais - civis, militares e do exército - sobre a violência policial. O foco da análise são as relações entre cultura organizacional e as formas e modelos de estruturação organizacional e de gestão das atividades policiais, levando em conta a função policial e as relações entre polícia e sociedade.This text analyses the public statements made by elite members of the police force - civil, military and army - on the subject of police violence. The focus of the analysis is on the relationship between the organizational culture and the forms and models of organizational structuring, and the management of police activities, keeping in mind the role of the police and its relationship to society.
