Abstract

This paper presents a review of the present information on the synthesis and characterization of LC polyethers and copolyethers based on 4,4'-dihydroxy- alpha -methylstilbene (HMS) and 4,4'-dihydroxybiphenyl (HB) with alpha , omega -dibromoalkanes.
