Abstract
This research-in-progress paper summarizes first results of the INPROVY project by applying reference modeling to the simulation of mobile construction machinery. Four Business cases for a potential application of reference modeling are derived by an expert interview. For these four business cases this paper discusses principles of reference modeling can be applied best and how reference modeling can be used to support Simulation of Mobile Construction Machinery economically. © 2010 Springer-Verlag.
