We are analyzed and described the principal's leadership style as determinant of his behavior in providing instructional supervision. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research was conducted on representatives of three elementary schools in Minahasa Regency, North Tondano District. Determination of informants in extracting data from informants of this study was carried out by snowball sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation and interviews. To ensure the validity of the data, triangulation was carried out across time and methods. Data analysis was carried out in inductive narrative by following the steps of qualitative analysis proposed by Miles and Huberman: data reduction, data display, and conclusion.
