Abstract

Robots are intelligent machines, and their intelligence is best reflected by their capacity of perception, reasoning, learning, communication, task planning, and mechanical work. Three knowledge-based artificial robot intelligence: heuristic reasoning with experts systems; fuzzy control for dealing with uncertainty; and artificial neural network applications for robotic systems; are discussed.
