Abstract

Nanomaterials is one of the areas most highly concerned about medical technology nowadays.Such as metal nanoparticles,nanorods,and so on. Functionalized nanoparticles can be used as cancer probes, drug carriers to help us to investigate more research about biotechnology. In this study,we synthesize different size metal nanoparticles and conjugate with Amine-Polyethylene glycol-Biotin (NH2-PEG-Biotin) to functionalize it. We can control the number of NH2-PEG-Biotin on the surface of nanoparticles successfully. We believe the interaction of different size nanoparticles and different numbers of NH2-PEG-Biotin can improve the area for biomedical application.
