Abstract

Health service delivery systems and ehealth applications are facing an ever-increasing pressure to improve the quality of their services to patients. The evolution in the way of interaction between health care providers and the patients is the basis for the collaborative internet and frames the transition from Web 2.0 to next Web versions. In this study, we are searching for solutions for quality assurance of information for the user. The survey has shown the need for an integrated policy on the quality of information published on health-related websites, while on the other hand it highlights the important role of upcoming Web technologies.
