Abstract

This chapter explores the various curriculum development efforts from the postsputnik1 era to present. Sputnik1, according to Wikipedia, was the first artificial Earth satellite (measuring 58 cm in diameter) launched by the then Soviet Union into an elliptical low Earth orbit on 4 October, 1957.
