Abstract

The constructing a new teaching mode that combines table tennis lessons with flipped classroom is the proper approach and practical need for physical education teaching reform in the new era. The research results show that under the background of the information age, the reform of physical education in ordinary colleges and universities must take the connotative development path of transformation and upgrading, and put forward higher requirements for the physical education teachers’ professional reserve, knowledge ability and development path. At the same time, in order to enhance the endogenous motivation for PE teachers to participate in the reform and innovation of teaching models, schools should reform the incentive and evaluation mechanism for PE teachers, improve the campus network learning service platform, and enable table tennis MOOCs to form high-quality educational resources and be shared with the public.
