Association between physical education and mental health: An analysis based on radial basis function neural network

Abstract

Mental health (MH) has a direct bearing on personal growth and social stability. The association between MH and physical education (PE) is an important topic in the research of PE. This paper designs a PE-MH association model based on the radial basis function (RBF) neural network. The hidden layer nodes of the model were refined according to the various processes ofPE. On this basis, the parameters that associate the PE processes the MH assessment system were determined level by level, and the current architecture of PE was adjusted accordingly. The results show that PE is closely related to the mental health development of students, and the global optimization of PE processes helps to improve the mental health of students. The research results provide new clues to the structural optimization ofPE processes.
