Abstract

Rich material from the Weddell Sea allows a detailed description of the morphology and anatomy of Aegires albus Thiele, 1912, an Antarctic nudibranch. Comparison of the holotypes of A. albus and A. protectus Odhner, 1934, the other Aegires from the Antarctic with the present material shows that these two species are synonymous. © 1987 Springer-Verlag.
