Penerapan Model Scramble Berbantuan Media Kartu Suku Kata untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membaca Siswa Kelas III

Abstract

Indonesia dengan model pembelajaran scramble berbantuan media kartu suku kata di kelas III SDN Pilang 1. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan secara bersiklus dengan model Kemmis & McTaggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas guru dalam mengelola kelas model scramble berbantuan kartu suku kata pada siklus I (95% dengan kriteria amat baik) mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II (97,5% dengan kriteria amat baik). Adapun aktivitas siswa pada siklus I (88,75% dengan kriteria amat baik) meningkat pada siklus II (91,25% dengan kriteria amat baik). Penggunaan model scramble berbantuan kartu suku kata dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas III SDN Pilang 1 ditunjukkan dengan ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 65% meningkat menjadi 78% pada siklus II. Kata Kunci: Model scramble, Kartu suku kata, Keterampilan membaca Abstract: Reading skills have great significance because through reading, not only ability and insight increase but also give rise to the basis for the development of imagination. The low reading skills of students are a problem in this research. This research aims to determine the improvement of students' reading skills in Indonesian language subjects using the scrambling learning model assisted by syllable card media in class III of SDN Pilang 1. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (PTK), which is carried out in cycles using the Kemmis model. & McTaggart, which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research results showed that teacher activity in managing the scramble model class with the help of syllable cards in cycle I (95% with very good criteria) increased in cycle II (97.5% with very good criteria). Meanwhile, student activity in cycle I (88.75% with very good criteria) increased in cycle II (91.25% with very good criteria). The use of the scramble model assisted by syllable cards can improve the reading skills of class III students at SDN Pilang 1, as shown by classical completion in cycle I of 65%, increasing to 78% in cycle II.
