This article is based on a brief description of contemporary "states of the world", marked by inequality and violence, to reflect on the importance of a policy of peace in the field of education from the theoretical perspective of the narrative. This supposes an interrogation on the language, the subject-and the subjectivities-and, therefore, the valuation of voices, memories, biographies, in the daily work in the classroom and beyond, as an ethical contribution to the expansion of visions of the world, the recognition of the 'other' and of difference, both at the level of cultures and identities.
