ANALISIS KANDUNGAN GIZI ALGA HIJAU SILPAU (Dictyosphaeria versluysii) DARI PERAIRAN PANTAI RAITAWUN DESA NUWEWANG KECAMATAN PULAU LETTI

Abstract

The green algae of silpau (Dictyosphaeria versluysii) is one of the many green algae found in Southwest Maluku District. One of the locations that have the potential of green algae silpau is in the Raitawun Beach Water Village Nuwewang Kecamatan Island Letti. Green algae silpau are usually found growing on coral substrate and coral reefs. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional content of green algae silpau (Dictyosphaeria versluysii). The method used in this research is explorative method, that is done in the laboratory analysis to reveal information from certain facts and data obtained is shown in tabular form. Based on data of laboratory test result (proximate test) showed that dry cassava contains nutritional value such as water content (2,91%), ash content (84,52%), protein content (3,33%), fat content (0, 55%), carbohydrate (4.03%), crude fiber (4.44%), Mineral Cu (0.0204ppm) and Zn minerals (0.0849 ppm). The nutritional value of silpau is so high that it can be used as a potential food and safe for consumption
