Describing in a timely manner the prevention and control measures that health personnel should apply at the hospital level. It is very important that hospitals have prevention and control protocols for the COVID-19 pandemic, the unit must have the resources and personnel to care for the infected population, all workers must have training in the use of personal protection equipment (PPE), as well as hygiene measures. All the aforementioned must be applied in all areas of the hospital center, from reception to ICU (Intensive Care Unit), in medical procedures, disinfection and waste.
